Tips for Selecting Shower Hose

1. Look at the surface

Although the surface of each brand of shower hose looks similar, if you observe carefully, you will find that the surface of the brand of shower hose is flat, the gap is evenly distributed, and the feel is smooth, and the high-quality shower hose is made of stainless steel outer surface. The advantage of this material is that it can not only protect the inner pipe, but also play a certain explosion-proof role.

2. Look at the material

Because we use cold water and hot water when bathing, the faucet plays a role in regulating the water temperature, and the shower hose plays an important role in connecting the shower and the faucet. The use of hot and cold water needs to pass through the shower hose, so the requirements for the material of the shower hose are high. The inner tube of the hose is preferably made of EPDM. The advantages of this material are aging resistance, heat resistance and not easy to expand and deform.

3. Check flexibility

Because we often pull the hose when bathing, which is convenient for us to bathe or use in different positions, we should choose flexible materials when purchasing the hose. For example, the flexible hose made of EPDM is relatively good. It is not easy to deform when we pull it, and it is easy to restore to the original state. The outer tube of the shower hose is made of 304 stainless steel, which ensures the stability and flexibility of the hose.

4. Check the tightness

Finally, we also need to see whether it is closely connected with the sprinkler and faucet, and whether the sealing is good. If the sealing of the connectors at both ends of the hose is not good, then we are prone to water leakage in use, and there are certain safety hazards. The hose connector with good quality is made of copper. The thickness of the connector and the solid gasket inside are very strong and durable. The appearance is also equipped with a good rubber gasket, which has a good leak-proof effect.
